Environmental stewardship is deeply rooted in our tradition. Waste and excess are discouraged. Balance (mizan) applies to our use of resources.

Solar panels are increasingly affordable, with payback periods of 5-7 years in many regions. After that, electricity is essentially free for 20+ years.

Switching to LED reduces electricity consumption by 50-75% for lighting. LEDs last 25,000+ hours versus 1,000 for incandescent—reducing maintenance costs too.

4. Water Conservation

Install low-flow fixtures in wudu areas and restrooms. A dripping faucet wastes thousands of gallons annually—fix leaks promptly.
